Laying a Solid Elementary
Academic Foundation
K4 through 6th Grade
- TCA uses the ABEKA Book Christian-based curriculum.
- Teachers use multiple teaching styles to ensure that students grasp the required State of Ohio Academic Content Standards.
- Starting in the K4 Kindergarten class, TCA instills strong Phonics skills. When the students graduate from the K5 Kindergarten, they are reading.
- Cursive writing begins in the First Grade and continues through the Sixth Grade.
- The majority of Elementary students make the Honor Roll each quarter and receive awards from the Principal.
- We teach children to put others first. Each year with our Thanksgiving food drive, we feed 25 families in the community.
- The average student-teacher ratio is 1 to 10. Each student receives individual time with the teacher and additional support if needed due to our small class sizes.
